Cate Blanchett is an Australian Actress & director. She was born May/1969 in Australian's town Ivanhoe. She ha one brother and one sister. Her father died when she was 11 year old. Her full name is Catherine Blanchett. She completed her graduation from Australian National Institute & Dramatic Art. She started her career from theater. After theater in 1993 she appeared her first TV Drama Series Heartland. After that she signed a popular drama series Police Rescue in 1994. In 2006 She won Academy Award, for the best Supporting Actress from the movie of "Notes on a Scandal. In 2007 she got Oscar for Best Actress from the movie of "Elizabeth The Golden Age. Her name comes in 10th highest Paid Actress in the World. Now she has 2 Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and 3 BAFTA Awards at this time.
